  • 1/2 lb Black Beans

  • 4 cups Water

  • 1 1/2 Green Peppers

  • 1 Onion

  • 3 Cloves Garlic

  • 3 Dried Bay Leaves

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Oregano

  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

  • 1 teaspoon White Vinegar

  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

  • Fill a pressure cooker with two cups of water and add the black beans. Soak the beans for at least four hours.
  • After soaking, add the remaining two cups of water, half a green pepper, and a quarter of the onion to the pot.
